The hotel is the worst place i have ever stayed. I would warn people to not go here. The toilet flooded in the middle of night and there is no one to contact. They didn't even say sorry.
Value for money
Property would be better if it was refurbished
it was good
Breakfast could have been better with some waffles bananas chocolate milk
The breakfast room was good with quite a variety of choices. The staff was nice.
The refrigerator was very noisy and my husband could not sleep. We had to turn it off overnight! The radio did not work either. The bedspread was dirty.
The romantic fireplace
The tub small and the room smelled musty
The bed was great. Huge and comfortable. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave in the room. It was quiet despite the motel being full and being on a big road. There was a simple complimentary breakfast for everyone. We we not rushed to leave and the shower was hot.
We thought the description of the Inn ( Fisherman's Wharf ) was misleading. It was on a busy road about a mile from the Wharf. We would have stayed closer if we had known.
The location was central to everything.
The room was very small. We requested a crib beforehand. It was not set up and we had to re-arrange furniture for it to fit. We ended up putting the chair in the bathroom. Breakfast was obviously a Costco shopping trip, white, wheat and raisin bread with butter, yogurt and watered down coffee. Lastly, when I checked out, the management didn't ask about my stay or say thank you for staying. He was probably avoiding feedback. I wouldn't stay here again. Many other options for the price.
The shower !!! Was amazing!! Hot water fast and pressure was great!!! Bed was comfy and loved the HBO!! And the continental breaksfast was awesome!!!!
Everything was fine, except the toilet.
The toilet made a loud noise, sort of like a hissing sound, every couple of hours throughout the night, so our sleep wasn't great.
Location to sites is great and accessibility to Hwy-1 excellent. Room was quiet & clean. The jetted tub was very clean and comfortable for two. BUT...
The entire property is tired and in need of a major overhaul. Furniture was from last century, bed was comfortable, but you could see "dimples" from where many, many have slept. Fireplace grill was LEANING against the firebox-WOW! The jetted bath settled some 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch, opening up a gap along the wall. It popped back into place an hour after we went to bed and woke us both up startled. AND you could see daylight through the gap when used in the morning. Breakfast? VERY simple by modern standards: cereals, bread for toast, some yogurt in a very cramped room that was FULL with 15 people. Again, depends on your standards & price points whether this is a good deal. We will try another place unless major changes are evident. AND no one at the front desk at check out. Just a bucket for keys. REALLY??? This is Monterey, CA not a third world nation. Needs lots of help.
Clean room,nice breakfast!!!
the toilet kept running so my husband checked it, and fixed it, plus saw mold in bathroom.
We had the worst room on the property. Will not book through you again
Stayed in the "King Jacuzzi Suite". Absolutely loved the hot tub and the in-room fireplace. Also really liked there was a separate room for my daughter with a pull out bed.
Definitely not a King sized bed (maybe a Queen?) and the Pack N Play they tried to give me for my 2 year old was filthy, like I put it on the white sheets and they turned brown. Could use some TLC (chipped paint, hole in wall near hot tub) but it was worth the money.
